Nix Feature List

Nix is a 3D combat racing game where players try to blow each other up while racing their futuristic heaps of scrap metal to the finish line. Players can take on the unrelenting AI opponents or go head-to-head in networked multiplayer deathmatch. The turret mounted atop your junkyard chariot of doom can deliver rapid machine gun fire, explosive rocket flak of several flavors, grenades, and proximity mines-- choose your weapon and take aim. Racing doesn't take place on conventional tracks in Nix; getting to the next checkpoint is the goal, but how you get there is up to you. Turn up the volume and dim the lights for a frenetic experience in the Nix world!

Graphics Programmer Adrian Bentley, AI/Gameplay programmer Michael Gonzales, Product Manager and AI/Network programmer Braeden Shosa, Technical Director and Physics/UI programmer Richard Yeager, Producer and AI/Sound/Entity programmer Mark Young, and Art Director and Graphics/Tools Programmer Shane Whitfield form the team that created Nix over twelve months at DigiPen.
